About Flow

Flow builds embedded finance products that live inside the software businesses already use, starting with accounting platforms like SnelStart. Our mission is to make “banking-grade” capabilities feel simple: payments, accounts, onboarding, and automation that work reliably, scale across partners, and deliver a great user experience.

The Role

As Product Owner, you turn outcomes into shipped product. You own what the team builds next, why it matters, and how we make trade-offs between customer value, compliance, technical quality, and speed.

You work closely with engineering, design, and key stakeholders (including partners) to keep a single clear product direction and a backlog the team can execute with confidence.

This is a hands-on role in a small team. You will be deeply involved in shaping scope, writing crisp requirements, unblocking delivery, and making sure what we ship is measurable and high quality.

What you’ll do

Own priorities and roadmap

• Define and continuously refine the roadmap based on company goals, partner needs, and user impact.

• Make explicit trade-offs and keep focus when everything feels important.

Turn problems into clear work

• Translate business goals and customer needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and release scopes the team can execute.

• Keep the backlog clean: clear intent, clear “definition of done”, and a steady flow into sprints.

Align stakeholders and drive decisions

• Act as the bridge between leadership, partners, and the delivery team to keep everyone aligned and moving.

• Communicate progress and decisions in a way that builds trust, without creating meeting overload.

Ship with quality, not drama

• Prioritise usability, performance, reliability, and operational readiness.

• Work with the team to reduce risk early, especially where integrations and security/compliance are involved.

Measure impact and learn

• Define success metrics, track adoption and outcomes, and use insights to iterate.

• Close the loop: every release has learnings, follow-ups, and a clear next decision.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Product Owner (or similar role) in SaaS, fintech, or another complex product environment.

• Strong Agile product delivery skills (Scrum/Kanban), and the judgment to adapt process to reality.

• Technical understanding to work confidently with engineers on API-driven products and integrations.

• Excellent communication: you can write clearly, decide clearly, and explain the “why” to different audiences.

• A pragmatic, high-ownership mindset: you don’t just surface problems, you drive solutions.

Bonus points

• Embedded finance / payments / banking domain experience.

• Experience with partner-led product development (building for/with platforms).
